advice on hard drives

in Techie Stuff
i have just got a new hard drive fitted and kept the old hard drive. - I can access both in my computer but cant seem to open up anythink in the old hard drive - which is a pain as it has all my music etc.
any help on this mateer would be greatly appreciated

Do both drives show up in the POST screen (when it first starts up?)
Enter the BIOS (DEL, F1 or other key - depending on your board).
Check both drives are detected.
If not check that both drives have the power and IDE (or S-ATA) cables plugged in.
For IDE drives check that the master / slave configuration is correct (only one master and one slave per channel).Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Go into Disk Management in the MMC and check the partition is active.
Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management
