If panties1992 thinks the £8.50 an hour he evidently earns is an impressive salary, he should probably keep very quiet.

    Exactly what I was thinking...

Also, my very first job was at McD and earned £3.85 an hour which I thought was 'great' at the time but having worked for other companies, I realised how low it actually was! I was only 16 though and it was only temporary.

Not everyone who works at McD are brainless. Sometimes it's just a fact of life where someone has no choice but to work there!

Hi, I worked at McDonalds and done 11 1/2 Hours. Got payment today for just 34 pounds working out at just 3.00 an hour I am 18 is this correct? Or am I getting pay of a 16-17 year old. Scott.
hi speak with your manager it might beyour werent clocked in for your first shift they can sort it out tell them trhe shifts you done and take your wage slip with you on it it says your rate of pay and tax paid on your wage slip
  • I agree with Catmc, get the mananger to check the clockig in records, you will be on at least mim wages, it is a requirement that the labour sheets are printed off at the end of every day, might just be that you either didn't clock in when you got there, so it has only recorded the time from whe you clocked in after your break, or you didn't clock back in after your break. Either way the sheet will tell you.

Yep, I agree...if you're fortunate enough to get a job >£5/hr inexperienced and young.

My first job was £3/hr :rotfl:

 I like it....I used to do silver service and worked at KFC (now I'm an intensive care nurse)...so I'd like to think I'm not brainless
