    Is that before or after deductions? Minimum wage when you're 18-21 is £4.83

    done = worked for....

    How often do you get paid? Was the 11.5 hours on the same day or done over a period of a week or month?
  • im asuming you have only just started working there and its your first pay

    Hiya,
    The pay period ended last Saturday @ Midnight
    So did you work at 4pm until 1 or 2 am? If you did then you must be over 18?
    On your payslipit will tell you how many hours you were paid for and also check the tax code you are on.

    McDonalds are becoming one of the most valuable employers though with their training schemes that they offer to employees.

    It can be a good career path for some, and there are far worse places to work especially in distribution, 100 drops and 250 miles over 13 hours a Transit for NMW
  • Hi skonz,

    You should speak to your manager/advisor about the payment.

    Don't forget breaks are probably unpaid so a 11 1/2 hr shift with 1 hr of breaks is only 10 1/2 paid work.

    If panties1992 thinks the £8.50 an hour he evidently earns is an impressive salary, he should probably keep very quiet.
