TG You were right. I did the Idiot's guide and you said they won't even read it. I think to date 2 people have read it.
One of the main points I made was to put a thread title to make it easier to search ie Gap Pay, TNS Senario etc.
Have they bothered. Nah you were right TG. I wasted my time and like you I am out of here.
I mean !!!!!!! thead title.,...was it too much to ask.????
Bye
Blimey.
I use user cp to read this, and didn't see a post that you had put together a new guide [you may have mentioned it but I must have missed the one that says it is done]
Are you suggesting in your idiot's guide that people who do not use the title line are indeed - idiots?
Personally, I don't read idiot's guides...is that what you have titled it?
ETA: what guide? There is nothing on the first 2 pages of Up Your Income....ETA again - I've just seen it is on the first page of this thread.....
[Who's 'they'....aah yes, the idiots...well if they are idiots then they won't, will they??]0 -
Idiot
You obviously need to read this
Oh for goodness sakes; I'd already found it and edited my post......
It was posted as if it was a stand alone guide that people must read....
And demanding that people put titles in will just start another line of things people can complain about on here.0 -
I have read HP's guide - I don't consider myself to be new or an idiot but I welcomed the opportunity to pick up any helpful tips from an experienced shopper....but I did think that was what it was - an offer of help if you chose to take it. It seems now that it is being dressed up as a laws which we have to follow - perhaps that needs to be cleared up.
And maybe it could be titled 'Tips to help new mystery shoppers' . I understood that the term 'Idiots Guide' was just a turn of phrase where as it is now being implied that people who are new are indeed idiots which is at best patronising and at worst down right offensive.

It will be termed patronising when the writer implies that 'they' haven't read it....I agree - calling it Holly's Guide...' might be a better title.0 -

Hello,
I have a suggestion to do with the Gap info at the start of the thread. It is definately worth doing all the oreintations even if you have never seen a job with that client. i used to do them as and when i saw jobs and as i hadn't seen certain clients i haven't yet done them all. i agreed to do a last minute burger job and without any prompting the guy said 'i would have given you some petrol jobs but you have not done the oreintation':mad::mad: he told me to make sure i do it so i can get them next time!
i am sure most people have done them all but just in case you thought it wasn't worth it.....it is! :T (goes off to cry at not getting petrol jobs)
