Still feel really little in the world of mystery shopping, which is going to be proved by my next question:(
Can i buy stamps on the stamp job? (just thinking of getting a book of stamps) says don't buy 'saver stamps' but i don't know what they are.
Thats what I buy. Only ever done 3 of these shops.0 -
"Oh, you don't like it that I'm taking photographs in a public place? Well go and whinge to someone that cares...oh, what's that, noone cares...?"
:rotfl:
I've found with these types of photos you do just need to get on with it and not worry about other people. If you keep looking around etc you'll just draw attention to yourself.0 -
Just been out in rainy Manchester making a start on the drinks audits. Quite hard work, some of them weren't keen on me doing them and in others it was hard to see. Mind you I was offered a drink from a nice man in one of the pubs. LOL managed to resist but still nice to be asked.
Got one to do that is a nightclub that doesn't open till 11pm! Way past my bedtime, will have to do it at the weekend I guess.
I've not been allocated any egg jobs yet, but have been given some of the metal jobs. Am awaiting my exciting package with baited breath before touring some more delightful areas for these jobs.0 -
ahhh, Bet scenarios found and 4 booked on RE now!
Here's an odd one for you..... I was in a car dealership doing a written report visit today when I noticed a sign in 3 locations "The use of audio and visual recording equipment on these premesis is prohibited - Offenders will be prosecuted". Now - I have video equipment and as yet I have not done a car dealership scenario but it has started to make me wonder about it more.....
Could I be prosecuted if this was a video scenario? and what would the charge be?
I do loads of video car dealerships and it's not a problem. Since the company that put the sign up is also the company that instigated the video mystery shopping programme they'd look pretty stupid if they tried to prosecute. That's my defence and I'm sticking to it.If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.0 -

I don't know the briefing for these but can you phone the club and find out when they have staff in during the day - most clubs have someone around to take deliveries/deal with the admin while the cleaners are undoing the previous nights muck. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I did a covert then an overt and it went well (imo) I enjoyed it and would welcome more. The staff were lovely very welcoming and went through the audit really quickly and said that they hoped they would see me next time!!! They expected an overt and since I was friendly (why shouldn't I be?) they helped out... lovely people and enjoyed doing it ....best wishes with the visit:)0 -

I've done 4 of these and also would do more. No problem, although on one of them there was no-one to show me around so it took a bit longer.
Be warned though, allow an hour for each!!:D0 -
