Honestly there's not much you can do. Just grin and bear it. They know who you are, you know that they know who you are. As you say, it's all completely pointless but hey, it's a free meal and bit of extra cash for some Easter eggs.
Thanks, yeah I will try and think up some awkward customer behaviour for next time to mix it up a bitI might give that store a miss for few weeks, I only did this one cos it was a extra fee one so I can probably afford two easter eggs!

. Payday on Friday so will make my purchase then. Carphone Warehouse have a 24 mth contract, 900 mins, 500 texts, unlimited internet access for £25. I spend more than this for less on my current tariff so it's a no-brainer.
Cheers for the pointers all
Shop around a bit more, there are better offers out there. That still seems expensive to me. I know it is less than you are paying now but it could be less still. I played off Tmob & Voda to get my dealSPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Hello I'm a newbie at mystery shopping, signed up a couple of months ago with a few companies and have been reading this thread but not posted before so - hi! And thanks for all the great info you have provided, I wouldn't have had a clue what I was doing without it
I have been doing mostly Gap and RE jobs as the other companies don't seem to have much in my area unless I am doing something wrong! I did a Gap burger job today and was a bit freaked out because they obviously clocked me as a MSer as soon as I asked for a receipt, the girl on the till kinda freaked out and ran out the back to get her manager! Then within seconds every child in the place was being offered a balloon and there were about 8 staff cleaning! I felt like a right idiot sitting there while they all fussed around me. I'm sure this happens a lot as I've heard you guys talk about the 'floor show' but I felt pretty uncomfortable by the end as I knew they were all watching me and trying to make sure I could see all the good stuff they were doing. I just felt like that whole job was a bit pointless - well apart from the moneyWhat do other people do in that situation, do you just pretend everything is normal?
Welcome to the forum and thanks for the account of the floor show :rotfl:0 -
I haven't yet but have no problem with doing it. I need to pull my finger out and complete the training test. Failed the first one because I was too tired and knew I shouldn't have done it. I'll make it my job for tomorrow!
I have uploaded one. I just failed the testit's quite tricky to navigate through. A few times I clicked on something when I shouldn;t have

Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Well after everyones advice regarding the mobile phone to purchase.....I really really wanted the iPhone but could not justify the cost, so ended up going for a BlackBerry Storm 2, unlimited texts, email and internet, 300 minutes (more than enouh for me..hate chatting!). £150 cashback through Quidco and £180 back through the bills on 02. Works out all in at £18 and a bit a month when you take into account the CB etc.
Now, who has got one of these phones? I will probably take two years to work out how to turn it on!
Hope you have all had a productive day.

Hi Kisobel & welcome. These jobs are totally pointless and a big farce. I think most of us have been clocked and given the floor show. Yes, I just carry on with my meal as if the floor show was something that happened every day lol. It's asking for the receipt that does it and then they remember you for next time lol. The jobs are easy money for the ten minute questionnaire. Just do the report the same as you would anywhere. Remember that with this company you need to make sure your timings are spot on because if you need to make a criticism, they will check the CCTV to try and discredit you.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

I hate the floor show....today I took my son into one of these places and even though we werent doing a MS, I still got the floor show, they definitely know who I am.. I saw the GYP file being passed around being the counter, my son was offered a balloon on so many occasions, they even came over and checked he didnt already have the meal toy from a previous visit. It was soooo obvious.
I got the floor show in my local one the other day, I'd shopped them the previous month. I was with my kids and they STILL gave me the treatment .. which is ridiculous when you think of it because if you take kids on a MS it invalidates it!We’ve had to remove your signature. Ahh yes but they probably think that if they keep you sweet inbetween times, you will give them a good report anyway on the next MS.

I have had a Nokia and a Ericsson in the past but my last 4 phones have been Samsungs. My husband always has a Nokia and one of my daughters likes Sony Ericsson. It's funny how people tend to stick to one make of phone when they get a new one
Yeah, i used to have an Ericsson and a Nortel , whatever happened to them i wonder? Nowdays Nokia is my 1st choice, but will happily go with another brand if the tariff is right.

Cheers, owlet - will shop around a bit more. I'm no good at haggling though, need that guy of the moneysupermarket ads to do it for me.
Not had a floor-show yet. Although, after asking for a receipt one time a staff member leapt from behind the counter, glanced at me and did a little jig then rushed to off to check the toilets were clean! :rotfl:
