I asked Bare once why on earth jobs always sat as pending for forever, and the response was exactly that - they assign to one person but leave all applications open so that if person #1 fails they still have notes of interest from potentially oodles of other shoppers. So clearly it's easy enough to manipulate sassie like that. Alternatively it's to do with who the assigner is - I've applied for jobs in contrasting regions where one region will assign days before the other.

Like everything else with them, it's a totally mixed bag. They've asked me previously if I would like to help them out with a visit to a bookies that would require a 3 hour round trip - without budging an inch on the money. Yet I once stumbled across the final visit nationwide to a fashion store where they had been let down. On top of the generous reimburse that they offer, they extended it by another day and added a pretty respectable fee. So maybe, as with all ms-ing, it depends how desperate they are?

Well i've been following the thread for months and on the one day i don't keep up with reading it there's 8 flipping pages (my grandad died last night so been a little busy crying lol)

A quick question. I've done about 8 jobs for RE and they keep pushing the payment date back. Now the 10/04/10 - my first job was in Feb. Is this normal?

As for RE they are a mind unto their own. I'd ring them if I were you!

no idea about RE - I've done 2 jobs & both payments have left my RE account

Sorry to hear the bad news

With regards to RE, it may be that there are discrepencies with the report, either that or check the bank details are correct.
When I had payments being held, it was because the store was disputing the details within the report, so they held the money whilst they sent numerous emails to me, to try and "investigate" why the report was supposedly wrong. I got the money in the end, only due to the fact that their CCTV couldnt prove that I didn't follow the brief.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandad. Mine passed just before xmas, it's a tough time. PM me if you ever wanna talk!

In terms of RE check that you have inputted your payment details, if they don't have it they can't pay you! If all else fails ring them, their accounts dept are fairly on top of things.

I have been allocated one and mine is the flame company and the report looks great, 10 questions and you do not have to comment on the food at all.

That is my lunch sorted en route to an nice wee shop in the afternoon that I got a good increased fee for :T. Do like these burgers much more that the gyp ones.
