Did the email explains what the reason why they sack you and BTW did you use in your report any word they might consider it unacceptable? It is silly of them to sack you for telling the truth.

It didn't refer to any of my reports, just said that their client wanted a broader range of shopper and then offered me other assignments with different clients............. Just seems odd that I didn't give it a very good write up as it was not as it should have been.......although not been sacked completely.........never been sacked before and been doing MS for nearly a year now, first time for everything :)

Wouldn't have a Blickborry .. iPhones rule ........... got mine last weekend and wouldn't be without it now!!!

Have to agree, love my iPhone although be very careful, had a complete nightmare when doing MS last week and dropped it in car park, screen shattered and I was devastated, Apple to the rescue, mended straight away but cost £139..........no I didn't have insurance and the thought of being without my phone sent me into a spin as I am so reliant on it now!

I went for the Nokia E63 -has the qwerty keyboard mine comes with Unlimited texts, Unlimited email and internet and 700 minutes for £18 per month

Has all the bells and whistles that I'd use on the i-phone but a lot cheaper
Mine's on 3 mobile-and came with £42.50 cashback from quidco

Mine's insured through my Natwest bank account package

I like it better than the Blackberry for feel-it's really easy to navigate-pretty sure Orange do it too. I really couldn't justify the £30/35 for the crackleberry or I-phone when I could get this for £18.

Have to laugh at this one, did some petrol for gyp yesterday, last minute ones and put on the report that the toilet was dirty...........well it was disgusting, the type were you want to heave..........anyway guess what, had THE email and been sacked from those type of jobs...........should have known really that you say something bad and you are gone :D never mind, lets see who will sack me next for doing the job properly and telling the truth lol..........

I think there may be other reasons why they no longer need your services such as their e mail states. I have carried out lots of that type of shop and written reports saying the toilets were the dirtiest I have ever visited, forecourt was swimming with fuel spills etc and I’m still doing them.
I also said similar about burger jobs and I still carry out those visits, I’ll always give the negatives but am careful how its worded so as its seen as being constructive.

Thats exactly what got me sacked from the petrol jobs last year! The same place had the same disgusting toilets for my previous 3 visits over a 12 month period - instead of cleaning them up it was easier to get rid of me!

Yjey never tell you why they sack you - the most you will get is a list of 3 general reasons such as forging report details, the need to change their shopper base, etc. They say it breaches confidentiality to give the exact reason. I have NEVER forged report details and have always been totally reliable - the only reason I could think of was my bad garage report the previous week. It also happened with the stamp jobs and the burgers - 7/10 days after the 'iffy' report, I was on my way out. Gap clients often just pay lip service to MS work - they only want to hear what they want to hear!

  • Just got one of the lovely cinemas as posted on the alerts thread. Never done one before but reimbursement seems more than reasonable. Great night out Saturday for me and hubby. Now looking out for the Italian Brothers to come up, which happens to be right next door to the cinema and I'm away! :D

I think they've all gone now. You've got to be quick. I, for the first time in my whole entire life logged on before 7am this morning and just managed to nab it. The hairdresser is the only one I can see too.
