What's that got to do with it?

Why don't you just PM one of the people that are talking about a job you are interested in and ask them yourself?

Well I was just following this boards normal protocol which in the last 11 months has been if you think theres a client missing from your ABAi list or theres a company you dont know about you post and ask anyone available who knows to pm you. I have replied and pm-ed many people lots of times as I know how confusing it can be especially when you are just starting out. I do not like to pm people I do not know as 1) they may not be online again for days which does not help and 2) some people do not like pm's from people they do not know so I do not want to bother someone if theres really someone online who can help me. I now know not to ever pm you if you are stuck as you obviously don't come in to either ask for or give advice and support as I do.

As for company's that cannot be mentioned I am registered with the only one I know of and I obviously do not know who else is registered with them as we are not allowed to discuss them. If anyone does know that they have work at the moment as they have seen emails for their area I would really appreciate a pm as I have not heard anything from them for ages now. I am not getting the emails if there is work so I would prefer to know so I can try contacting them to check if there is a problem with my details. Also if anyone else has had to do this and knows of the correct email address to use for this sort of problem I would really appreciate it as I have only got two email addresses for this company - I emailed both of them a fortnight ago checking if there was a problem and did not get a response. Thanks in advance if anyone does know and can pm me to help and I apologise in advance if asking for a pm is now not allowed in this forum :o

Check the degree carefully. I took and graduated Applied Criminology but means nothing. Hasn't helped (actually hindered) getting a job. In a role now i could have done before going to uni (not that i'm bitter at wasting 3 years of my life and getting 12k in debt for nothing lol)

Thanks I am just trying to find something to do to change my career. I have seen jobs I would love to do where this MSc would have helped me and that is the field of work I want to try to move into. Most of it is just broadening my analytical skills to incorporate different types of research and data (I have worked in two unrelated fields for my professions) so I really cannot see how it could disadvantage me as it would mean I have qualifications stating that I can analyse different sorts of data rather than just numerics. I went for a degree which I thought meant I would have work but business analysts at the level I used to work at are now no longer needed so I have to do something. Its really hard to know what is the best thing to do.
I am very surprised that your degree would hinder job applications! Saying that I just think the right job has to come along at the right time. Last job I had I applied for 250 jobs nationwide and finally heard something for the last two after all that waiting. I didnt have ANY of the prerequisites but they wanted me and paid for me to relocate. So if you are job searching keep your hopes up as something will be out there for you (I should heed my own advice nonetheless; my situation is difficult though as I cannot commute long distance now as had back surgery so I have to be really sensible and overly cautious to stay fit and healthy).

Has everyone had their petrol envelopes for last month? I'm waiting on 3, 2 of which I should have had by Friday/Saturday just gone.
I've had two of mine but then I did one very late last month (last day of the month if I recall correctly) and I haven't had that one yet but the other two I got at the beginning of last week.

Had a brilliant customer service experience today. Customers were being ignored while an ex-employee came into the shop to have a nice chat with the staff. Five staff members were huddled round having a great old laugh and a natter while the customer queue grew and grew. My scathing report will hopefully put a stop to that kind of behaviour in the future.

When I had to "reveal" myself at the end of the visit, staff members were looking appropriately sheepish to say the least. :D

Please take client name out of your post. It's breaking the confidentiality agreement made between you and the MS company.

I had one where i should have been 'approached' i was not but had to go enquire. that may have been due to the fact i saw 7 (yes 7) staff members talking in a group.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Apologies, I started this yesterday by trying to stop the repeated.. pm me please, repeat, repeat etc... sorry you seem to have been caught in the backlash of this...:o I think all anyone wants who is using this forum is for everyone to read the previous posts.. even if its just the first pages and the last few pages, this normally answers a multitude of questions that then don't get repeated... as for the requests for Company information this is best done direct to the person/people discussing it. A personal request is often appreciated more than a general one... especially when it gets copied and fills up the thread with requests... and whoever referred to the clique.. I'm not a member, so you can't blame them for this one. it was me...! :)
