I've got enough to keep me ticking over, but I didn't really want a lot of work between Feb and April due to mental times at uni. I'm doing two courses and one has a huge end of course assessment due in April, plus regular assisgnments from both courses, then I've got two deferred exams from last year, also in April, as I was sick when I should have sat them last year.
I've noticed in the past that work does tend to be a bit quiet around the end of the financial year and suspect people's budgets must be running out. It picks up again in April once everyone has more money in their budgets. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Apart from this week, the last 3 weeks of March are looking quiet for me jobwise too. Have only 3 shops booked for this coming Saturday which suits me as I'm getting my hair done. One fast food shop on Sunday so I am taking my mum with me for that as it's Mothers Day! Then I have nothing booked after that, unless React allocate me a day out. Think it may be quiet due to Easter creeping up.
With regards to TNS, unfortunately there appears to be quite a few dropped jobs but I think this is due to TNS only letting you reschedule an assignment once. Once you have changed the date, if you find you cannot do the job afterall then, unfortunately you have to release it and the system won't let you pick it up again. I don't always rely on the alerts and log in to the various ms sites now again to see if I can pick up any dropped jobs!0 -

Can someone PM me all the jobs that are all available please, with all their locations and fees. And the weather forecasts so I can decide when to leave the house. Thanx. What's that got to do with it?
Why don't you just PM one of the people that are talking about a job you are interested in and ask them yourself? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I enjoy their assignments too. Only downside is that you can't do them again for another 3 months. The manager for mine was bouncing more than the guy I gave mine to! She's was so pleased!
Got my first ESA job today, so going to do that later.
Maybe the manager thought she was gonna get a voucher too.
Didn't realise there was a 3 month wait between assignments thanks for the info. I'm still laughing at this girls reaction when she realised she'd 'passed' :rotfl:. Actually, when i told her i was a MS she visibly started to shake! If she only knew that i was a bundle of nerves too :rotfl:.Sealed Pot Challenge member no:918

Has everyone had their petrol envelopes for last month? I'm waiting on 3, 2 of which I should have had by Friday/Saturday just gone.0

Best of luck with that xx
I'm graduating (hopefully!) in October with a BA in Business Studies and wondering what to do next. I quite fancy doing a MBA, but it's really expensive. I'm also broody which is also an expensive option.
Can someone send me lots of money to help make my mind up please? :rotfl:
congrats in advance on your BA!! :Tit is such an achievement and you should be really really proud of yourself. I wanted to do a MBA (I studied computing and maths originally) but noway I can afford it as its double the price of other masters. Plus I was a business analyst but got made redundant 2 years ago so not worth spending all the money as the jobs just dont exist anymore
for once the chap was really helpful on the phone and seems like even though its a MSc I qualify to apply for funding as my degree was with them same uni. If I am brave enough it will be in Forensic Psychology & Criminology  I must be mad0 -

Check the degree carefully. I took and graduated Applied Criminology but means nothing. Hasn't helped (actually hindered) getting a job. In a role now i could have done before going to uni (not that i'm bitter at wasting 3 years of my life and getting 12k in debt for nothing lol)I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0
