To be honest, I think you should have contacted RE as you have failed to complete the job as per the brief!
Also very surprised anyone helped you, as if you get caught you WILL all get sacked!

I DID try and phone but no answer! Also I was asked to provide "a" pic of a closed sarnie....the ones I had deleted cos were blurry! So I sent the good pic....they more or less said use any pic I had stored!!
I was gonna take one off the sarnies website but to be honest they bore NO resemblance to the one I received....
Asking for help on here was my last option! Boy was I pleased when help was offered.:)
I had sent OH to buy another one, when he got stopped by the Old Bill for answering his mobile! It was me phoning telling him to get the cheapest one cos they weren`t worried about wot was on the inside

    Morning

'crisp' money in the bank today for me. Got an email off them yesterday saying they wanted 10 more stores done this weekend :T Also have two travel agents, a phone shop, 4 jewellery audits (thank god for late night shopping!) and a hot food purchase at a garage. On top of that I have to take my son to physio and the step-kids to their mums for the weekend.....Tomorrow is a pet shop, phone shop, a reimbursement only shop a jewellery audit and an underground sandwich...at least they are all in the same shopping centre! Sundays mission will be to do the crisp photos that I haven't managed to do on my travels today! And then its back to work on Monday.

wow you are busy! I'm really struggling to get any jobs and have resorted going back to RE (dreading it) and gyp, will see how that works out. Didn't get any nice ESA visits but kids have parties to go to this w/e so am quite busy. Have fun!

  • Does anyone else get evil looks from the customers in the massive queue behind you in some of these when you're asking about the card thing? Good job I've got thick skin :D

yep, and the whole returns thing when they put you in front of a queue is my favourite then they shout loudy, "I'm closing down as I've got to give this lady her money back" :rotfl:

Ok my suggestion, when someone mentions a clients name or posts on the alert thread, I find the 'kinder' way of telling them is to PM them just saying 'oops wrong thread, or please take out clients name :) '

Instead of flaming them on here, (and yes I'm no angel, I've done it!!!), but we were all new once and make mistakes, but with a kind word we don't do it again and are encouraged to keep looking and helping this thread!

Well it's a fair point - people come here asking for other types of help and support and get told they have to do it for themselves. People only a few pages back were being very high and mighty about doing jobs correctly - so while I appreciate squeaky probably made a genuine mistake, numps does raise a valid point.

I think it's just the short abruptness of numps comment.

It is right to do the job correctly and I think all squeaky did was eat the evidence before checking her photos. We all appreciate the pedantic nature of the RE photo demands and receipts etc.
Personally I would have fessed up to RE as if it is something you don't make a habbit of they would be understanding. But I can appreciate the panic. After all these years i still forget left, right and have been known to drive back for a photo.

  • Morning all.... has anyone done any holiday shops ???... had a quick scan but can't see any info on this, (sorry if iv'e missed it) I have 5 holiday jobs coming up, just had a thought. !!! when you make a enquiry about holiday they take your name an address.. well defiantly your name, not 100% about your address but i would most prob think they want you phone number too thinking about it.... anyway wont it all go on their central comp system, so when i go to the others it will pop up that you have already made a enquiry either that day or the previous, about another holiday.... look a bit suss if it does.. :o

Morning all and happy Friday! :j

Was just wondering if anyone has done a nightclub job for RE before? I am quite tempted to do one in my area this weekend but am wondering if A, it looks a bit suss me hanging around a club on my own and B, if I can make the assignment stretch out to the required 90mins. I reckon I'll look like a right loser!! :rotfl:

If they are the same chain then yes is the answer. I have 4 phone numbers I can access and I use my own and 3 lovely friends addresses when I do similar jobs. I change my name all the time and occasionally have to think on my feet if I mess up. My favourite is I am moving and staying with friends/relatives and its their details on their screen. I don't think I have ever been sussed but then it's not in the agents interest to let me know is it?

It's very useful to have a couple of cheap pay as you go mobiles for MSing. You often need to wait for a call back from a bank or or travel shop etc.
One of mine is also the GYp number so I know it's them calling (might help the poster who said their OH telephones).
