We purchased a car last year that was stolen and recovered, the service book was not recovered and our car is now due for its 3 year service (it was reg March 07 and has done 25k)
Car is runinng fine but understand it needs its big service :eek:
Was quoted £260 at Tunbridge Wells Ford dealership and £270 at Crawley
Wow!! My question really is the "do or not to do" in terms of main dealer servicing. My problem being, we do not have a service book and I would like the stamps..
We eventually located the originally owner of the car who informed us of the garage that serviced the car was local to her but had since closed down
Alternatively as were due to tax/mot/full service/service book purchase maybe now would be a good time to chop it in?
