Please tell me then how you would enable a cheque made out for example to Tesco Motor Insurance ended up in your account.
Without committing a gross amount of fraud that is easily tracked back and recovered of course.0 -
I could not do it without committing fraud, but that would not deter some folks, cheers, lets call it a day.
It was the OP's first post and she hasn't come back. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
I am back:), sorry been busy girl today!
Thanks for all the replies, just to clarify I changed my car insurance company for which I paid monthly and fell into owing them money, cancelled policy charges (doh, should of checked). I have paid in full for my new policy with another company and am fully insured and not in danger of not being so!
Anyway update to the story, should really of checked my bank account before posting here and bothering you good folks, when I looked it had been cashed by them, so I rang him back and said:
"I know where that missing cheque is" to which Mr Smug replied
"Oh, you've found it at home then did you" to which I replied (a tad smugly I admit)
"Nope its been cashed by you, so the money is in your account"
to which there was a pause and an apology saying that it must of been put in the wrong account. I wanted to suggest that he should go and introduce his companies right hand to his left but refrained.
A million thanks to you all for your replies, great forum here with loads of good stuff:T0 -
