Just hope none of the big wigs at Next see this I'm sure that they might stop doing the VIP sale, so we will all suffer now, and have to start queing on the phones or in the stores at 5am.

Maybe there is a reason why you weren't chosen in the first place, maybe you should have asked them!

I don't think NEXT would stop it because of people getting a VIP from using the link here, as others have said the link ususally only works if you were due to get an invite anyway. I didn't get an invite but tried it, didn't get a confirmation email but rang up only to be told I had a slot booked from 7-7.30pm and she gave me the password over the phone incase the confirmation email didn't come through(which is still hasn't) then this avo I got a call asking me If I wanted a slot for a phone order. So I'm sure it's normally those who would have got a slot anyway that it allows to register? Plus the end of the day.....aren't we all spending money here!! So I'm sure they wouldn't be that bothered!

The link has also been posted on at least one other forum that I frequent. I don't think Next can do much about it, the code gets leaked every year by someone. At the end of the day they want to sell their stuff, we want to buy it. I don't think they mind who gets it as long as it all gets sold.

I got an email yesterday inviting me, but im glad i had already signed up via the same link on here, as the time slots left would be no good for me

Even though I got a slot I'm not going to order anything this time - haven't got the cash!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, most of it goes back anyway!

It makes sense for them to select customers, I dont think they have a criteria in mind, just a number - I mean would their online ordering system be able to cope with thousands of people trying to order during vip slots? I have been invited this time but wasnt the last time round. I really do think it's about controlling traffic
