balance transfer problems

hi, I got a new card with a 0% for 12 months, to transfer my card to. so the next time my bill came through, I tranfered my total balance before the payment due date. Then when the next bill came through the door I exected it to read 0, but to my shock it read £50, when I rang the card company they said it was interest, from the date they sent the bill to when I payed the bill off (I told them it was before the due date, but they had none of it)? If I pay the £50 by the due date, my next bill will read some interest again, so i can never clear this card. I dont know what to do, can any one help?

This is normal to still have interest to pay for a month or 2, interest are calculated from the moment the statement is issued0

As mentioned above, trailing interest is normal once you have started paying interest on your balance.
You need to pay two full statements in order for it to stop. You have already paid one (when you did the balance transfer), so by paying this statetment of £50 you will finally have cleared everything.0 -
Hi,
It depends on the company and their criteria and which card you are using that is the type of card you are using, on the basis of this transfer can be done.
You just need to ask credit card company and how much interest they put.
