Must be something about the name - goes off to have a nosey :p
  • Really snowing now.
No sign of the baby. Humph!
Can't decide what to do with the rest of the day.
  • Afternoon.

Well, got out of bed but could serioulsy crawl back in-have had massive talk with DH and after spending most of the morning crying-I now feel worse...hey ho. Apparently his post is at threat at work, and his pension is looking like it may be changed. I'm not that worried-DH is one of the best FF they have and well respected-he is also an Associate Trainer for the brigade but he is stressed and since my contract ends on March 12th-he is also VERY stressed about that. The kitchen has cost over £2k more than was expected (so far!) and well, we're all just stressed and worried. DH actually acknowledged the fact that I have been ill for ages and now knows I was not just a hypochondriac...(just hypothyrodic! lol) This may not sound like much but it is a huge step for him and therefore me!

I am completely shattered-I have cried since I woke up and look a right state-however, what will be will be and will put the smiley face back on that everyone is used to seeing and plow on through-a lot of people have things a lot worse so must keep that thought to the forefront.

I made a gorgeous lunch-not sure what to call it? Chickenpeas in a can of chopped toms friend up with onions/garlic/chilis and lots of curry powder. V filling and healthy. I am trying not to eat crap and eat lots of fibre and less meat (as my book Linda gave me says to do)

Will shut up now-feel like bloody crying again...

    Huge hugs bunny!

Sometimes you need to have a wallow in the mud before you can climb out.

I know a few of us have been 'down' after the amazing weekend that we had, it's a big come-down returning home afterwards, I'm one of those people that doesn't cope with life well unless I have things scheduled in that I can look forward to.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
