Lloyds TSB Credit Card

Good Evening, Just recently opened an Account with Lloyds TSB and was wondering How do i get to See my offers within Online Banking?
I've heard that Lloyds TSB "offers" you products on a Pre-approved basis.

When i log into my Account it takes me to the Account Main Page where i can see my Classic Account and ISA Account with Balance.

I'm Looking to transfer balances from other High Rate Credit Cards to Low rate (have a bad credit file).

Please could you tell me how long roughly offers take to view online?

Your Help is much Appriceated.:j

Only Lloyds know the definitive answer to that question.

That said, I would of thought offers you refer to would be influenced by your:

    [1] Internal Credit score

    [2] Affordability

    [3] History with the bank

    [4] CRA data feeds

Was you offered any other prouducts when you opened your account with lloyds?

In the opening Account Overview page, under Credit Cards, you will see a blue link to Balance Transfers. This will take you to an application page that offers you their terms. In my case, they are offering 0% for 9 months plus a transfer fee. I suspect this is the same offer to anyone who is likely to qualify.

However, in the conditions, it says that you need to have held the credit card for at least 6 weeks, so if you are less than that period, the link or resulting option may not be showing for you.

Note - this is not pre-approved, you still have to go through an approval process.

I've found that you can sometimes get a better deal if you ring them.

PS : I've just noticed that you do not say that you have a credit card with them - if you have not got a Lloyds credit card, then you won't get a balance transfer online or by phone.

"The OP is asking about pre approved offers in order to obtain a lloyds cc............ "

He won't get a pre-approved offer on line until he gets a credit card. The access to any offers is via a link on his Accounts Overview credit card balance summary. If he hasn't got a card, he won't have a balance summary for a card, and so won't be able to access the link.

In any case, the BT offers are not pre-approved - it still says on the application page that it is subject to approval.

If he has not got a credit card with Lloyds but wants to find out what he may be offered, he should ring them and talk to them directly.

You did not understand, the OP was asking about pre-approved offer for a new credit card. He has just opened a bank account with them and wants to know when pre-approval for credit card will be showing in his offers

    What are you talking about:o

The OP has just opened a bank account with Lloyds.

Now they want to know how they go about obtaining pre approved offers for a credit card.

What is so hard to understand?

Lloyds do offer pre-approved loans and credit cards, you only need to hold a current account to see the said offers.

You are talking about balance transfers for existing "credit card customers"

It helps if you read the OP:rotfl:

It will take six months before pre-approved offers appear and they will be listed under "offers" on the first page you see when you log in along with your account balances.

Note that even if you don't incur a single penny in charges for six months, you will be marked down (given a higher risk score) if you use any overdraft you may have even if you are doing it responsibly.

Lloyds TSB REALLY don't like people using overdrafts on a regular basis - my ex credited his Lloyds account with nearly £2000 a month and never incurred any charges but hasn't had any pre-approved offers despite being with them 18 months because of his frequent use of his overdraft :o
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

    Hi,

When I opened my Lloyds Account last May, I was approved for one of their Credit Cards and an Overdraft during the application process for their account, and I didn't even know about it, until I went into branch, and saw it on The Screen whilst talking to one of their advizors, when questioned about it, she duly said, "I will get that finalized for you now" and within one week, I had The said Card, and The Overdraft was on immediately.

It was then after about six months, I noticed I began to see "On-Line" offers on the account, ie open a new current account, take up free text alerts when abroad, that kind of thing, and it appears as a separate box underneath your acccount details, when you log on, they just automatically appear, as I did nothing to prompt them, and also from time-to-time, just popping into branch to pay money in, generates staff to tell you what offers are available to you, or of course you can just ask.

If you don't want to wait for "Offers" to appear, why not apply with them for one of their Credit Cards anyway, what's the worst they can say, "NO" but if you have a current account, you may well just get lucky. Good Luck. :)
