i placed my first and second online orders @ tesco on Monday! to be delivered one day apart.
i ordered pringles crisps on both orders at 74p. yesterday my first ever order arrived perfect.
my second order came today, ~I was quoted £69.86 when i placed the order online. but on delivery note it was at £84!! this is because the pringles are today priced at 2.03p!
can they do that? when i placed the order, it didnt say the offer would be running out (i.e back to 2.03p) before my order was delivered and i placed both orders at the same time....
unfortunately my sister signed for the delivery. wat shud i do now? am feeling very dissapointed with my first shop, i think i prefer going instore to buy! yu know exactly how much your paying

Doesn't it normally say on special offers when the offer expires?0

jeez- was that £40 worth of pringles?!
how many packs did you order?:silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0 -
I've found Tesco online CS very helpful - if you have a complaint on your order they will likely refund you accordingly.Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0

I had this the other day with Linda McCartney sausages. Added them to the order on Monday night for £1, delivered Tuesday morning and the price was £1.87 or something. Was a bit annoyed as it's normally pretty clear when offers end, they usually flag it up at checkout and give you the opportunity to change the order or delivery date.
I can understand the price of fruit and veg fluctuating daily but not Pringles or sausages. I let it go as it was only the one pack but any more and I'd email them. Definitely would in your shoes.0 -
Call them. They did this to me. If the offer is going to expire before your delivery date it should be flagged at the time of ordering (checkout).
After a quick call they refunded the difference between what they should have charged and what they actually charged.

But 2.03p is considerably less than 74p?.....0
