Back to the wall toilet question re fitting

Hi
Tomorrow I had planned to order this Duravit toilet, a back to the wall one. One plumber that quoted said a back to the wall would be fine as my waste at the moment comes out the back then straight down through the floor.
I've just emailed the chap that I picked to do the work, he seems to think a toilet like this needs some kind of false wall???
If you click on the technical drawing for the loo it seems to show several ways of positioning, is it really a hard one to fit?

Many thanks

I think the pumber would have assumed that you meant a toilet with a hidden cistern so the loo is back to the wall. The one shown states that you can have the waste down or horizontal so i'd guess your ok0 -
I think from that drawing the feed comes directly in from the rear which means a false wall or putting a feed though your existing wall.
So you need the bottom or side entry cistern to avoid the above.
Also I don't think the cistern comes with that toilet, its a seperate part to order. Not Again0 -
Seems to be a standard type, should be easy enough to fit. The link says that it weighs 25900kg. Slight mistake there I think.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Hi
I did one like this with a soil down through the floor, I used a flexi pan connector, push the wc as far back as you can then fit the connector and push back the rest of the way.
Same with the cold feed.
If the soil is too far from the wall it will not push back.
The wall and floor need to be as near 90 degrees as possible or you will have a gap at the top or bottom once it's pushed back.
