Refreshing Virgin basic channels?

We have been using Freeview on our new tv until we got a different tv given today, which doesn't have Freeview. So we plugged the Virgin box back into the tv and half of the channels are missing! Does anyone know how to rescan/refresh the box to get all the channels we should be getting?
Thank you.

Should be a simple case of switching it off for 30 secs then back on again to reboot it

It's not a new box, says 'pace' and 'Vbox' on it.
The stop thing didn't work, nor the switching off :(

The old mum on there was so annoying!! Hated everything haha.

    DH means 'darling husband' :D

    Thanks, Saz x

Yeah we have phone, bb and tv. Hopefully we've sorted it! DH rang up (spent 30mins on hold grrr) and they sent a new signal through...or something..
Thank you all for your advice :)
