Getting a refund on photos

Anyone have any idea if i can get a refund on some photos i had done? I went to double take studios and had a photoshoot done. The sales women was really pushy and we were only allowed to view the photos in a quick slide show twice. Then we had to refer to thumb nail photos for referance. I ended up buying 6 photos for just over £300. I wouldnt mind but when the photos arrived 5 of them were terrible. My make up in the photos were really obvious and in one photo the lighting was so bad that it looked like most of my arm was missing. I called them and asked if i could swap the photos and the lady said there was nothing they could do because they were the photos id chosen. I explained how we were rushed through the viewing and she said there was still nothing she could do. She told me i could pick a further 2 photos as good will gestures but if the photos i already recieved were poorly done. Then these 'freebies' are likely to be bad too. I looked at the small print and cant find anything about not being able to get my money back. Do i have a leg to stand on? I have a feeling they'll use the fact that i could copy the photos onto my pc then demand a refund against me. Is there anything i can do? The sales staff are so unhelpful, is there anyone else i could make a complaint to?
Sorry for the long rant!

Have a search on here about double take studios there are alot of threads. Maybe they could be of some help. From reading a few they seem to be a very pushy company, so you are not alone0

Possibly you could argue that the goods aren't up to the advertised quality so you're entitled to a refund in the same way you would with faulty goods. For reasons which should be obvious this would be a long shot and you'd have to be prepared to take DTS to court.0
