I saw you on the beach and I would advise you to not visit the beach again because your pale skin will get burnt out, mate.

P.S.: I'm a lawyer and skin care specialist from otbeach.com, I'm qualified to give you this advise.

you can use ryanair from LPL and STN to AGADIR, look for some flights with them yourself if you can get to these airports that is.

If the date is different by a couple of days phone OTB and state that you wish to ammend the hotel dates which shouldnt be a problem

on the beach do not have an atol licence so you will not be covered their act as third party, would advise anybody booking with a company without atol cover to take this as warning

As others have commented, OTB specifically avoid selling package holidays, even though what you end up may look and smell like a package holiday. It is therefore pointless looking at the Package Travel Regulations, as they will tell you they do not apply. Neither do the Regulations relating to cancellation of flights so long as Thomas Cooks cancelled the flights more than 14 days ahead, which I assume they did?

Their conditions, which I am sure no one reads, make it clear that the two contracts, one for the flights and one for the accommodation are entirely separate, so you can, as many others have, end up with half a holiday. I am not sure, having ticked the box on their website agreeing to the conditions, that you can do anything to avoid this situation but I do think it is grossly unfair that they expect you to pay another £30 just to get out of the other part of the contract for the accommodation, they will have already made a profit on the sale in the first place. My advice is to email and ask for a full refund, bearing in mind they chose the flights, they do not show who the contract is with until the last moment, and only then if you look carefully. If they refuse, contact ABTA consumer affairs on 020 3117 0500 and explain that you cannot understand how your 'holiday' has been cancelled and you are expected to pay for it. Good luck

It appears Morocco may not be selling very well, TC appear to only operate one flight a week on Wednesdays from Gatwick for the summer, but when you try to buy the flights on their own, they are not for sale. TC would obviously rather keep a customer than give them the money back but in this case, a full refund looks to be the only option for the flights

The other alternative is that I cancel the entire holiday but will be subject to a cancellation fee by the hotel and a £25/person cancellation fee by On The Beach.

I sense that at this stage you might want to cancel the holiday all together... Not sure if it would help, but you could try to contact the hotel by email or phone (french would be advisable perhaps), to see if they would could cancel your booking without a penalty... or inquire what the penalty from the hotel would be. You can also ask OTB what the penalty from the hotel is and bargain for them to waive their own cancellation fee or you will report them...

I think it would be in our interest (not necessarily in yours, other than to rant a bit) to post a brief account of your complaint and how it was handled by them on the threads dedicated to this company, in MSE or look for them in tripadvisor or holidaysuncovered. I speak for myself, since I was looking into this company recently, and ended up using thomascook, and these experiences are what really breaks a deal for me (not the fact that a company will charge a cancellation fee if the client does not adhere to the dealines they set... which is what often people will complain about). Thanks in advance.

As other posters have noted above, there are other flights to Agadir on other airlines. If TC doesn't want to fly you, find out the best re-route for you and book that, putting TC on notice that you will expect them to pick up the cost, as envisaged by Article 8.1(b).

Is there a reason why TCook should pick up the cost, shouldn't it be onthebeach. Obviously this route to Agadir hasnt sold well, so Tcook would soon go out of business if it kept every uneconomical flight. I know its a poor option but it is still flying from gatwick and hasnt been pulled completely.

Katrien, under the great rule of KARMA, this cancelation could work in your favour. Ryanair currently have a "no taxes " offer on at the moment. You could "rebook" these flights + just take the accom from OTB.
Typicaly RTN price Liverpoool to Agidir 8 July Out £36.99 22 July back £29.99 back = total £66.98 (+ £30 baggage if you want) = £96.98
