Warranty on car
Options
Hi
Just wondering if anyone know the answer, I bought a 2008 Peugot 107 a month ago, it had 1500 miles on the clock, I know it has a 3 year warranty on it but I have no idea what that covers, the brakes are making an awful grinding noise and wonder if this is something I can go to a peugot garage with..
any help much appreciated
sam

Go back to where you bought it from and ask them?
Could be a stone stuck somewhere or low pads...0 -
With such a little mileage the discs have probably rusted, won't be covered by warranty. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

The brake pads could have worn out, they probably wont be covered by the warranty as its normal wear and tear, get it checked by the garage you bought it from...if their labour cost is very high (£70 or more an hour), you should be able to take it to any other garage (ideally £25 per hour) ....as long as they use genuine peugeot parts... and it should not affect your warranty at all.....obviously check with the original garage and get it in writing...not all garages are rip offs, but some charge ridiculous hourly rates when doing "warranty work" and dont volunteer the information about any garage doing it with genuine parts0
