Many thanks - I've a good idea where to look now.

I'll have a little trip out on Monday and see if they've still got some stock.

I was interested to read that you've found a 99p shop in Stratford - I've only managed to find a Poundland, a £stretcher and Wilko there - I'll have to have a good look around next time I go.

Many thanks for the post, and your very useful and informative replies - It's much appreciated.

I think the poster was saying the 99p shop was in Lewisham.
I've seen the sting extractors in Poundland.

Better than a sting extractor, my local poundshop was doing electronic mossie repellers a couple of weeks ago. It's a small keyring sized thing that emits a high pitched squeak. They're absolutely fantastic, I got mine 3 years ago and paid over 20 quid. You *never* get bitten when you keep one with you, the mossies hate the noise. Take a look in a local poundshop and see if you can find one.

I bought one of these from the Pound Shop in Farnborough (Hampshire) last week. They may well work, but my ears are a bit too sensitive to the sound. I had to switch it of after about 20 seconds as the sound was just too painful.

Probably not a problem for most people, but if you are sentivite to high pitch sond, it could be.

hehe, I'm more sensitive to mossies, no matter what spray repellent I used they used to get me. And when I get bitten it's not a little bite, it turns into a hard black bruise about 2" across and very painful before scarring me for good. So a lil noise seems like heaven, especially since I know the mossies hate it more than me :o

I'm well aware that the poster found these in a store in Lewisham. If you'd read my postings correctly you would have seen that.

From the outset this posting has been, unfortunately, disjointed which I'd put down to the lateness of the hour when it was started.

(For the product that I'm interested in) I'd tried to clarify what was trying to be conveyed in as short a number of questions as possible, and I'm sorry that you've failed to appreciate that.

Sorry it was late when I posted. The £1 shop was in Stratford and the 99p shop was in Lewisham.
The sting extractors are in the 99p shop Lewisham.

    That's o.k. LilacLillie - I'd got there by post #12

Once again, thanks for a great post - if they've got stock it'll be a really useful buy.

Sorry if I'm lacking comprehension but I got the impression that you thought that there was a 99p store in Stratford. Just tried to save you time and effort looking for a non-existant shop. I'm sorry that you've failed to appreciate that. ;)
  • I went to Straford (East London) and Lewisham (south London) & that was the 99p shop there.

Oh yes I saw the bra's (Lewisham 99p), marked boxes at £35.99, but they were all large cup sizes G, F, FF, etc. Very good value if you are top heavy which I am not.

  That's amazing, do you know what back sizes they were??? It's right out of my way but prices like that maybe worth taking a trip to Lewisham...
