£1 shop this week...........

Some good deals in the £1 shop this week. They usually get to do the rounds, so may be worth looking out for in one near you.

Pkt 6 crafty cards and envelopes (make your own with the bits)

Card of 36 bleach tablets. Add water and each tablet makes 1lt of bleach, or pop them in the cistern, for clean flushes.

Sting extractors (for holidays). I bought mine in Boots for £15.99 each. Got 2 for friends who liked them but wouldn't pay that price. Come to think of it as I got them they won't be paying me either!

Perm lotion L'oreal. Did mine tonight came out fine.

Heat & cold packs

6 bars or Original source soap

Can't think of my other buys at the moment, bit tired. Well worth a look though.

I got some maws factor 25 sun cream for kids and an M&S Bra, also an M& s matching pear of knickers. I know that sounds mad, but is true, honestly.

I went to Straford (East London) and Lewisham (south London) & that was the 99p shop there.

Oh yes I saw the bra's (Lewisham 99p), marked boxes at £35.99, but they were all large cup sizes G, F, FF, etc. Very good value if you are top heavy which I am not.
I also got a fan that squirts water, battery operated for 99p. Worked a treat today and a pack of microfibre clothes............my first ones.

They are in compact boxes, ideal for travel. Its a sort of plunger with 6 (oopss! look more like 4 in the pic I just found) attachments. You put it over the sting and plunge away. They are brilliant. You can actually see the sting/poison coming out of the bite and don't get the itching after.
They use them in the forces and some emergency services also carry them now.

This is the one I bought for £15.99, from Boot's. The other's were almost the same but were white and only 99p! (Lewisham) HTH

Thanks LilacLillie - I haven't seen these before.

I live on the other side of London from Lewisham - I seem to recall that there's a shopping mall in Lewisham - is the store in there and is it the normal 99p store?

I believe there is only 1 99p shop there. Its opposite the entrance to the Mall that is on the street where the market stalls are. Ask if you go and someone will tell you.
They really do have great stuff in there!
