Breakdown cover (including holiday in France)

Hello All
I've just found this web site, by acccident really although I have heard Martin on Radio 2 several times, while driving about.
Anyway, here's my question.
My UK only breakdown cover is about to run out in a few weeks, so I need to renew it: BUT I'm going to France in August.
Previously I'd take out a 'basic' UK package and then opt for Euro Assistance for the 2-week trip
I'm in two minds now
Autoaid looks to be great, at about £30 a year for UK cover
BUT also
Looking great is the package with Quotlinedirect which is for UK and Europe at an amazing £59. What's the catch ????
Martin mentins that if yoy are not a regular visitor to Europe, opt for the UK only package and get trip cover a s extra. This seems far more expensive
HELP !
THis £59 deal seems too good to miss .. am I right ?
Many thanks
