My PC has 2 op systems,Vista and Win 7,connected to a HDMI monitor via a HDMI cable, when I use Win7 the desktop and icons are pin sharp,as is all other applications, but when I load up Vista,it all goes horrible and fuzzy and not as clear as under Win7,it's the same cable etc,why is this,is it purely because Win7 handles the graphics better???Cheers.

it could be drivers, but also screen resolution, no of colours and frequency are the things I'd check first0

Does sound like the graphics drivers on the Vista OS need updating/tweaking.0

I updated the drivers,makes no difference,changes to the refresh rate only give me 1 option,still fuzzy.Kawasaki z750 Rider!0

Have you changed the resolution on the Vista OS ?
Right click on desktop => properties
Make the resolution the same as the Win7 OS.0
