lloyds wont transfer money

hi all
can anyone give me any idea why lloyds wont transfer the money my partner has just asked them to
we have a joint current account with them and he has already set up for money to be transfered to my other current account he logged online today and asked them to transfer £1000 to my current account there is just over £2500 availble to use however at the end of asking for the transfer a message came up saying it was being passed to their payment verification team and we might get a phone call from them but if not to log on after 72 hours and verify the payment
i dont uderstand why this should happen he has already move money to my account in the past and it is going from an account im named on into another of my accounts why do we need to wait?
any ideas?

thank you for your replies my partner got a call at about 8pm from lloyds even the girl he spoke to couldnt understand why the transfer had been flagged up as it was to someone who was named on the account espeicially after they had happily let us transfer 10,000 the same way last month and nothing was said.
