I had the 'agreement in principle' from A&L within 2 days. However, my broker just informed me that they is a backlog of at least a weeks delay.

A week?? That would be nice and expected as a 5 day turnaround, what I have seen is a month.

Keep us posted but the fact that there is no consistency just shows what a mess the operation is in if they cant work on apps in date order!

Miss Aqua...said at least a week...that's what A&L would have told her adviser...they will be given the same story next week...

At least a week is at least 7 days, at least 2 weeks is 14 days, at least a month is well a month.

They can't continue to over promise and under deliver, they might as well say it will be at least a day and that covers them for every eventuality.

A simple no would mean I can move on but being in limbo is worse.

The problems with all of this is the management will not see that this is bad, it will be due to 'the merger' it will be due to the 'increase in apps'

All of which as a customer is not our problem and just shows really poor management in an organisation. The fact that they don't even know what there backlog is is unbelievable.

Two weeks ago I was told via the broker it would be work on at the weekend. Two weeks later they looked at it and put it to the back of the queue.

Let me in there and I'll sort the place out!!!
