  • No,No,No,No,No,.......... They look a right couple of chancers. Baz Davies - "Mentor"!!

    Doesn't fancy himself much then?

Also, I was a lot concerned over his inappropriate use of Capitals and lower case in a supposedly, professional website.

I am presuming that the flat is additional to your requirements, i.e. is not your main home?

The answer to your problrm would seem to be to look in your local paper on the day that Property For Sale/Rent" appears and select a well-known EA in the rental section.

Whether it's just in my area, but there are always adverts for EA's requiring decent properties to let.

    Hope this works.

Yep, it's the same guy. And just in case you doubted his professionalism, here's his video introduction to his website:

So if they promise to buy the flat once its value equals the amount you owe, what happens if the market doesn't go up enough, are you allowed to sell the flat to someone else?

Very good point. So, if in 5 years the value is £100k do they get to buy it from you, or just leave you with it. hmm... I suppose it's not worse for you then if you had done the letting.

Another issue may be how they value it. If you think it has risen above £130, but their valuer consistently comes back with a lower value - so they don't buy it. How do you dispute that?

Anyway, that is all by the by - I agree with most everyone here that this is a bit of a scam, and regardless how good it seems, somewhere down the track you will have lost out significantly.

On his Facebook page he has listed his goals for 2010. They made me feel sad inside.
By the 31st of March 2010:

    • I will be in the 1st team @ Cleve Rugby Club
    • I will weigh 13 Stone 4 pounds
    • I will have printed & learned every single rule to allow me to make faster decisions before the other team has the chance to react
    • Tuesday & Thursday morning will be kicking practise, I will run to the rugby ground up @6am
    • I will own nice new yellow Nike boots, 3 rugby balls and a kick stand
    • I will have tonnes of music on my iphone @ least 100 songs
    • I will spend at least 1 day every two weeks with family
    • I will have spoken @ 3 events minimum
    • I will be living in either St Andrews or Gloucester Rd
    • I will have started Spanish lessons - spending 2 hours per week on top pf the course time
    • The business will be earning £6,000 per month
    • I will have been snowboarding for at least 3 days
He is a follower of NLP, so presumably believes if he writes them down and *really believes* he can do it, he can achieve anything he wants in life. So sad.

He seems so stupid and amateurish that you start wondering how easy it would be to scam him.

    Very unprofessional
He has called me 3 times today - each time I have been to busy to talk and told him ''i'll call you back.......'' only to have him call me again.
Each time was off his 'mates mobile' and there was obviously a carful of people i could hear in background!

He has just text me at 9.15 saying his battery died can he call tomorrow....
i text back 'don't bother have decided against it......''

He keeps texting now trying to get me back on side!!

    Feeling Stalked!!:rotfl:
