Sat nav issue

My dad bought a German made Transonic 3002 from a person in loot with no accessories, when we took it home and tried it out we found we needed a serial code from a cd handbook, we did not recieve it, we called the seller, wouldn't tell us what to do or give a refund, called the service, told us the sat nav is obsolete with no booklet, told us to sell it and buy a new one,:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: any ideas what to do? This could mean 80gbp down the drain.

The sat nav told us to go to Navigon too, though the sat nav is branded Transonic, Navigon is a software company, and they said just return the sat nave, the seller is not telling us anything, what we do about the sat nav? I was going to include a picture, but I can't do it on this board.

A satnav with no accessories, I wonder where that came from then. Did the seller brush the broken glass off before he handed it over.
