Changing advanced properties of multiple files??

I've just ripped a couple of disks to stick on OHs ipod, and itunes has picked up a tracklist from the wrong album.

I've renamed all the files by simply creating a list of the files in the directory (ie dir > list.txt), and digging up the correct tracklist (from play.com) sticking them all into excel and building the appropriate "ren" command.

Please, someone tell me that I can do something similar to update the other details (Track name, track number, album name, artist etc)????.

I'm far too lazy to do them all by hand :eek:

You need to change the ID3 tags on the files. Just chuck 'free ID3 tag changer' into google.

Some of those programs will 'ring out' to a CD database to get the tags.
