I was going to post this on Martin's broadcast appearances board, but it doesn't seem very popular strangely.
He was doing personal debt on the Jeremy Vine show, had some kind words to say about the people on this forum, & had the spokesman from the British Banking Association on the ropes :T I almost stood up & applauded, but I was in the office.
He even gave JV some as well during one call!
This is the most passionate I think I have ever heard Martin when laying into the banks. You can listen to him again via the Radio 2 website click the listen again button & select Jeremy Vine & friday, skip the first hour, he comes on after 1PM.
All the best to all you DFWers, I have been there many moons ago.

I listened to most of it , just missed the beginning! as usual Martin talks so much sense!:D
have to listen to it all now and see what I missed!;) Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Yes I thought he was brilliant, missed the first bit with the banking rep but enjoyed him giving Jeremy some stick for insisting this guy who had £1000 on cards charging 14%ish and £3000 ISA getting 4.5%ish should keep his ISA intact and not use it for paying off the card. Martin just wouldn't let him get away with it, and explained it again quite vehemently till eventually Jeremy agreed he was right.
