 Can anyone recommend any good places for kids days out in South Wales?
We have a 2.5 yr old girl and a 6 yr old boy. We have been to nearly every kids park there is in South Wales and due to our mini farm of animals can't go too far or stay anywhere overnight.
We have been to Ogmore and Southerndown beaches, mountain walks and swimming, too many times now.
One of our fav places Techniquest, Cardiff Bay, £46 for a years unlimited use family pass, total bargain 2 adults and 2 children normall price £20 each visit for 2 adults and 2 children !!! Not good in school hols though.
Cardiff Museum, kids bored after just 20 mins. Thought a cheap couple of hours out ended up spending £30 in the museum shop !
Castles again same as the museum.
Is there anywhere both the kids will enjoy cheap and no expensive shops to tempt them???
For our sanity during the summer hols!

Oakwood Theme Park is worth a visit
Also, Folly Farm has a huge fair ground as well as animals and loads of kids play areas!
They are both in Narberth near Haverfordwest.
Even if you have been - you could go again! They are good fun!!!
Hope This Helps!0 -
