Hi, I have a Binatone 2310 phone set, which consists of 1 corded answerphone and a cordless additional handset. Up to 4 handsets can be registered to the base but I can't find any to buy, does anyone know if these are available? Any suggestions very welcome! Thanks

Almost any DECT handset should work (more strictly, it should be possible to register almost any DECT handset with your Binatone base station as long as you know the password) although, sometimes, not all the functions (e.g. sharing phonebooks) work.
In the past, I have registered a Philips handset with an Alcatel base and OneTel handset with a Wharfedale base.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

I picked up the Philips handset I mentioned on ebay for £2.99 complete with charger pod. That included p&p.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
