Why not follow the British Gas complaints policy for business users?
http://www.britishgas.co.uk/business/complaints.html
They'll do all they can to resolve your issue straight away. Gotta be better than the 4 months you've been searching for someones email address
(Even if they don't, at least you'll be able to go to the energy ombudsman if you follow the complaints process properly)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
i've followed there process but as a business customer you dont have as much protection as domestic customers. You can go to the ombudsman when you have a deadlock letter.
I havent searched for an email for 4 months its just i've managed to get his name finally as hes the head of small business there. The last 4 months following there process hasnt done anything. They are so bad they wont even take calls and when they do they dont pass to to a senior manager. Calls tend to get routed back to the business team and then you get attitude as to why your complaining.
Tried Centrica and that seemed to work
Also sent to Sam laidlaw and phil bentley so i should at least get a reply hopefully0 -
... You can go to the ombudsman when you have a deadlock letter....
If you'd have done this 4 months ago, you could have complained to the ombudsman 2 months ago at the latest. Probably would have had it all done & dusted by now."Now to trolling as a concept. .... I find with business dealings its not as straight forward going to ombudsman. but i will give the email the time before i go that route now.
The last time i had to complain to BG it went to the energy committee in white hall about commercial contracts before they backed down. I've spoken to the ombudsman before they arent that helpful imo but that was before they introduced the small business part so may have changed0
