anybody have a renault megane Convertible?

Hi

have just noticed one of my front headlights have gone and need to change, on looking in book it says " Sometimes parts of body work and components need to be removed"

and shows light access under wheel arches... haven't been to look yet as in work, and took book into read to get a bulb on way home

does anyone know if they are difficult to change?

A Renault dealer will charge in excess of £60 to replace this bulb. They are quite easy but a little fiddly, the access panel is in the wheelarch and through a process of touch and looking through the headlamp it is quite easy. There is a clip that holds the bulb in place that yo need to squeeze together.

If you dont feel confident about doing it yourself, go to Halfords and buy the bulb and enquire about them fitting it.

There are also loads of suggestions if you put it into Google.

There is a little square flat inside the wheel arches on them, it just pops off and you have acess to the bulbs.

wow £60 to change a light bulb.... come back my old Volvo so easy to change.... guess its scruffs on and hands and knees then lol
