British Gas Energy monitor: Replacement power units.

If you have one of the British gas energy monitors supplied as part of the Energy Smart scheme, be aware that British Gas are sending out replacement power units.
They have found that a small number don't meet their quality standards.
I got one through the mail today, they are physically larger than the one originally supplied. You are asked to dispose of the original one safely.
I don't want to spread alarm but you may wish to stop using the monitor until you have a replacement power unit.

I have had two and none of them work. I got another one now but haven't tested it yet they did confirm to me last week they have had some problems with them0
