.psb files

Hi,
I've been given a cd with three images on it in the format .psb which is photoshop big I believe.
Are there any free file converters out there that I can use, as I don't have photoshop and won't need it after viewing these three files.

Best regards,
Rare

Are you sure you don't mean .psd

Ifranview is very good and supports psd files

    EDIT:
Ah! I see, *.psb is for freaking huge images.

    No mate.
.psb is the new format meaning BIG files.
Just can't seem to find a converter so I can just view them.

Never used it but I just had a quick search.

There is a small app which claims to open and convert .psb files although I'm not convinced it means photoshop formats.

WCVT2POV.ZIP I just downloaded it, seems harmless enough although psb isn't listed within the application.

Only a small download so worth a punt, just try dragging and dropping the image into the prog.

    Hello,

Had a quick look but it seems only Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite are able to open .psb files.

Probably easier to ask the person who gave you them to use Photoshop to save them in a different format and put them on a new CD for you.

Saving as tiff files seems to be the popular choice.

Done some serious searching on google and keep coming up blank.

    Thanks guys.
