New York hotels in madisson square

Can anyone tell me which is the nicest bearing in mind cost. I know it won't be cheap but can afford around £100 per night for two!
thanks

    Thanks
  • When I was looking for our trip earlier this year I heard good reviews of the Affinia Manhattan - which is opposite Madison Square Gardens. Have a look on https://www.tripadvisor.com and follow the links to New York.

A few year ago we stayed at the New Yorker Hotel, opposite Madison Square Gardens. Great location, big hotel and it was fine. Good thing about hotels in NY is that you really only sleep in them, your out the rest of the time!

I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance!)

    Hope that helps

What about the Jolly Hotel at Madison Square Gardens - terrible reports on Trialfinders but we got a great price for staying in November via the Times/Airmiles promotion and I don't think you can beat the location. Agencies and Trialfinders tend to have good prices on this hotel.

Have stayed at the Affina Manhattan twice, last time was in May of this year. I chose to stay there again after staying December 2004 (when it was called the Southgate Towers Suite Hotel). Excellent location, brillant staff. On both occasions had a kitchen. The bathrooms are tiny but hey they do the job.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
