Could i ask what to expect to pay for moving my gas and electric meters outside the house. This is just the opposite side of the wall from where they are.

Many thanks :)

We had our gas and Electric meters moved from inside the property to outside the property. Over £1200, but worth it as we have so much more space inside.

From memory it took quite a while to sort out as the work is subcontracted out. Also worth mentioning is that we had to ensure that the external electric supply was properly housed in a particular pipe. I think Jewson can help here. Our electrician (from London and we in hertfordshire)) had to re-do some of his work as EDF would not accept the work he had done even though it was to LEB standard! Admitedly EDF told us that there was no standard and each supplier has their own regs.
