Rant: Barclays' fraud protection

I am with HSBC, they often conduct these checks when I transfer or make a payment over a certain amount to a new transaction, never sure of the amount as it is not fixed but random to prevent fraud or scams. Nothing has ever happened on my accounts but I know several people who have been saved from being scammed out of several thousands due to this, so for me delay all you want so long as it makes my money safe, you just have to remember dont leave things until the last minute.
