Did you get all your work done then.......
Re the money running out stuff - is there anything not screwed down that you could sell on ebay? That is what I usually resort to and it is surprising how well it works. Or even just looking at the food shopping list and cutting back - easier said than done I know!
My DS is normally a bit difficult about going to school but he has been ok this week, tried to distract him when he "kicks off" but have also been getting him in bed early. He gets so so so tired and can't accept it and has really fallen out of his routine. He's lovely though and very cuddly1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Hi IMD,
I am really trying to cut down on food shopping . I went to Asda last week and spent £49.00 which I was pleased about but then I go back to the shops for bits & bobs and before you know it I have spent another £50. I am so impressed with your food coming in at £70:T .
Any tips gratefully accepted and appreciated.
Not much to sell on Ebay but I am searching
Take care .

Well yesterday I managed another 8.25hrs bringing my total for the week up to 26.75/45 :rotfl:. All was going to plan .... until today DS2 is ill today which means I won't get into work until around 2 pm meaning that I will only be able to rack up 5 hrs at the most today:(
I also had a really stress ful morning with DS1 . He really did not want to go to school and had a major tantrum, screaming hysterically. The trouble is when he gets into one of these he can't seem to calm himself down. I had to call DH to come home and help me to get him to school. This involved me carrying him into school screaming and kicking. As I left he was screaming " i want my mummy " . Of course i was in floods of tears ( again):(. It is so hard to see your child so distressed .:(.
I did have a sod it all moment but know I must try and stay positive so that I can clear my debts and create a better life for us and the kids.
My plan is to clear my debts in 5 yrs by the time I am 50:eek:. My boys will then be 15, 13 & 11 and I feel quite sad that I can't really afford to do much wth them when they are little:(. I know that spending money on them does not really make them happy ... its more about spending time with them ....unfortunately I can't do enough of that either as I have to work long hours to earn the money. I need some life balance and QUICK:)
Sorry for the rambling post .... just clearing my mind;)
Thanks for listening ( or reading );)
Love

:(Yep see what mean, I remember back when DS was young he started school with everybody else, 2 weeks down the road the school decided he would be better off on part days(talk about:mad:) him being at scholl gave me break, now 14years on and 18years old nearly he's still the same, good plan about the 5years maybe we can do it together and keep each other motivated, your life now is a mirrow image of what we went through and I remember when back in the early 90's the big recession well thought it couldn't get any worse (it did) but we made it through, it's tough going but has made us stronger, your little ones won't hold this against you have you sat the down and tried to explain and mabe get the involved somehow:D they may understand more than you realise and it also make ds1 a bit easier to deal with. We've only recently told ours even being a little oldr than yours ( straight in one ear out the other) but it has made them sit up and listen that money DOESN'T gorw on trees!!:p or as my ds would say "paper comes from trees and money is made from paper" smart a** was my response.:rotfl::oDH CC £969.00, bank loans *2 £27634.00,Overdraft=£696.00 Total Debts to Tackle = £29299:o sealed pot member 923=£26.99, £2 club member 75 = £0.00 2011 challenge member 360
