When we got home I was just sooooo tired, it lasted all night, proper physically worn out...booooo Ithought I was getting better!!!

A purge is a fuel and air conditioning additive for your car, if I sell a pair at work (for £29.99) I get £2.50. Easy money but it's just remembering to do it!

I've heard of this FAFF thing, what is it???

FAFFing - is February Alcohol Free Festival or Fanstastic Alcohol Free February (I forget!)

Put simply its days during february where you don't drink wine/beer etc

Either way its about cutting down a bit on the alcohol and saving some money - FAFFing rocks!!

When looking hard at grocery spends last year or so (maybe the year before :o) it came to me how much I was spending on the 'odd' bottle of wine in a week/month - etc - I was hitting my grocery spends really hard but still buying a fair bit of wine - so I decided for financial (and health) reasons it had to stop.

So I joined the cutting down alcohol challenge thread - :) what a lovely bunch - very like many on MSE :)

YB _ well done on your own personal FAFF's and NAFF's

    :) :T

  • Hello - this is my new start to becoming debt free. So today I have already

Checked all bank accounts are up to date and have enough in them
Checked credit card payments have been made that are due.
Took delivery of my tesco online shop completed through mysupermarket which saved me around £15 and then saved another £15 using an online code and club card vouchers.
Working from home so no travel costs or lunch costs.

Just submitted my job application - yuk! At least that's out way though, so now I am taking the kids to a local farm for a cheap day out. Entry is by donation and we are taking a picnic so we will make the most of the lovely sunshine. :)

Crikey - FAFF's sound far too complicated for me anyway! Plus I tend to fall asleep after one glass of wine...lol

Well I never - I sold a book on Amazon and their automated postage thing didn't cover the postage!!! How rude! So I ended up losing money on that! Not only that but I nabbed the change off my little brother who works for me, he said no problem but I had to go pay his parking ticket for him...I said no problem, got lost trying to find the council offices, eventually found them and a parking space, then walked to them, only to read a sign on the door that they had moved!!! So I walked to them to pay his ticket, expecting to find that I had a ticket on my car on the way back!!! I didn't have a ticket but I did use more than the nabbed £2.40 in fuel, I needn't have bothered!!!
