Hi all. Hope you are all well. Happy, sorry to hear about your car trouble. SB, bad news I'm affraid, your ears and your nose are the only two parts of your body which never stop growing! Sorry to be the bearer of that news but we'll all still love you!

I'm a tidyupper and can do the chaingang thing as long as the buckets are not too big or heavy! I'm a girlie you know! I can make coffee but not tea and am an excellent "goffa"!

Mike, are there any nice cheap camp sites or B&B's around? Or maybe a guest house that, if we can get positive numbers maybe get a good price for an over nighter? "Quote this discount code: Mike's Mob" lol. Oh and the camp site has to be near a pub! And have proper toilets and shower block. Oh and please avoid the equinox - I have bad memories of camping on the coast during the equinox - the Salvation Army were brilliant, even with a group of very p1ssed hairy bikers! (I wasn't one of the hairy ones).

Speak again soon, keep safe all.

Been offline for 24 hours celebrating my 50th birthday with 40 family & friends in a very MSE manner :beer::beer: - It came in almost £800 under budget!!!!!! :j:j:j :T:T:T

Miggy, I know roughly where you live - it is either near the James Herriot version or the Alf White one, both stunning parts of the county/country. Have visited or passed through many times over the years - the joys of being the english child of scottish parents!

Think we are going to have to organise a charabanc to get you down the A1 but once you are closer to the M25 we can sort something out. Any Megabus routes near you? If you book ahead it can cost £1 to get from Inverness to London (I know you are not in inverness but just trying to show what a bargain it can be)

How amazing would it be to meet up and put faces to names (real or sign on) while sharing in making Mike's dream home happen!

Poo - good to see you again :D.

I'm with you on the camping requirements! I even have a spare room in my tent. If some-one else will pitch it and take it down for me, they can have the spare room :D (Snorer's need not apply ;))

If anyone was going to a tent grand enough to include a spare room, I'd have bet it would be you! Sheesh. What else? Bathroom? Utility room with washing machine and dryer?

There are camp sites aplenty round here but I'll see if there are restrictions on the beach or greens by the beach. Failing that there's a grassed square in front of the house and I can sling you an extension lead to run the home cinema and central heating. I expect you have a generator though...

Mike, it's one of them Harry Potter tents. I just haven't mastered the spell that means it pitches itself yet. Will continue to practise.

And if I'm heading down from Scotland I can choose which side of the country I fancy passing through so I can go A1-M1 (sorry, why let a little thing like the wrong motorway number get in the way of a Gorillaz song reference... actually M6!) so I can swing by you Miggy and save you the [STRIKE]horrors[/STRIKE] time of the Megabus!

I have a graffiti wall at home & ask visitors to comment on it when they visit and to quote from yesterdays comments - 50 is the new 25!!!!
(tried to add a photo to show you but failed - any idiot proof/techo numpty instructions?)

I had a fab day, this was my official birthday (decided to be a bit like the Queen this year) as I celebrated with Family on the actual day and I am being treated to a few days away in Spain soon and then a very unMSE cruise in August. Thought I should make the celebrations last as long as possible!

As I am taking so much time out of work for this it may be tricky to get to you during the week but I will do everything I can (if needed) to see your dream come true.
