Eager Beaver I know but thought it still an idea to try to obtain e-mail address and contact within ITV in case you need it any any point...just to be ready!

I know how you like to be prepared so I hope you don't mind !

It's probably best to gather the information, re: email addresses and draft letters outlining Mike's plight etc., and be prepared to pounce when the time is right. As per SB's suggestion.

Basically it's about timing rather than doing or not doing.

Hope that clarifies things somewhat.

OK, back from my walk. Small Dog 2 went floppy after - bit too much exercise I think. So we came home. Everyone's been busy.

I don't feel ready to do anything yet. We need to know what DIY want in a potential project. Parking could even be a problem here. If we've got an email for the production team, that's great. The strategy should be only to keep Martin informed. But he's signed to ITV and only BBC Radio. He's not going to see any synergy.

The good bit will be (once we've established a back way into the DIY team, to snow them with e-mails. But not yet and not until we've sent them the application directly. It's already written, they have it, and it covers all the heart strings tugging stuff.

Then when they've had time to look at that, maybe we can 'support my application' by emailing every four hours until they crack...

They're all away this week and next anyway so no point going off prematurely.

I'm not clear - have we got the email of somebody big at DIY-SOS? We just need to identify the right person for now.

He has done stuff in the UK before - anyone up to writing a summary/ narrative of Mikes journey,sending a link or two and seeing whether he's up for a new challenge.
