Hi Mike
Well done! I really hope something gets moving for you now. Perhaps you and Angell Delights and Yorkygirl could get together and approach the local paper? Now that there are three of you and the BBC has named him, they might be less jumpy about doing an article.
You looked just like I imagined you, except paler and more tired, which is obviously the stress.
Shame the little dogs couldn't have a starring moment too .... perhaps they could go round and poop in Paul Bridle's garden?
It will be interesting to hear if any of your neighbours or locals say anything to you about this whole business now that it's been on the telly.
Take care :beer:Aspire not to have more but to be more.

Lol, now I have seen you on the telly you can't say these things because I have a mental picture of you doing this :rotfl:
A loooong time ago a friend's landlord really p***ed her off. After she moved out, she arranged for various things to be sent to his address - nappy samples, sanitary towels, baby food samples plus adult mags etc. He still lived with his parents so I imagine it was quite embarrassing.
However you can't now do these things because you would be No 1 suspect ....
I suppose there are more appropriate and mature ways of dealing with things but a little fantasising does no harm.Aspire not to have more but to be more.

Mike - I saw this today and thought it might make you smile.
When I come home at night
I smile and walk right in
I never hear a voice yell out
Or say where have you been
On a cold and stormy night
In a cozy little shack
I sing my songs and think my thoughts
With no one to talk back
I go to bed when ever I please
And get up just the same
I change my socks three times a year
With no one to complain
At night when I'm on peaceful sleep
My snores can do no harm
I never have to walk the floor
With a baby in my arms
And when I die and go to heaven
As all good bachelors do
I will not have to grieve for fear
My wife will get there too

Grr Grrr  I just wrote you a reply and the computer ate it .
Anyway just to say well done on your t.v debut - hope it wasn't too stressful for you.
Hopefully youve had some replies from people with suggestions and help and I notice a few other people who've had experiences with your builder have joined the thread.
Anyway - look forward to hearing the next plan of action and hope you get your money back sooner rather than later.

Awww Mike, your "speech" made me cry
. Well said
.
Here's hoping you make a lot of people very happy in the future Mike - I wish I lived nearer (em, and had any kind of skills other than tea and mischief making) and you could include me.
The house has em.... potential. Everything I could see which had been done looked top notch - I can see how you could have trusted him.
What goes around comes around. His turn next.
Am away for a week, looking forward to an update in a week.
gg xx
GG, there are no better skills to have! I'll join you on tea and mischief making rota. Maybe in the lulls I could do some sweeping too. But it's probably safer to keep me away from practical tasks.
Mike,
Its great that another of his victims has found this thread and posted. May the other known 3 CCJ holders out there also come forward.
Working together you will all be stronger, although it does occur to me that if he owes each of you similar amounts, he needs to live in a substantial pad in order to pay you all back when his house is sold.
Whilst we can all support you and be company for you here, there will be nothing like a good natter with those who have actually been through very similar circumstances pertaining to the same perpetrator and can relate to the dreadful ups and downs of the processess and hoops that have needed to be scaled and will need to be faced in the months ahead.
We're each here for you, in any way we each can be, for the long term with more people joining each day - so share the strength and feel the force ....
Here here Radarjet, I couldn't have said it better myself!
Mike have a fantastic time with you boys this weekend.

I can't condone all this talk of doing bad things to him. Anyway you'd need his address and phone numbers and you'd have to PM me to get them. And I'd have to paste them into a reply and press send. I'm not sure I'm technically up to that.
