    Mike,

Its great that another of his victims has found this thread and posted. May the other known 3 CCJ holders out there also come forward.

Working together you will all be stronger, although it does occur to me that if he owes each of you similar amounts, he needs to live in a substantial pad in order to pay you all back when his house is sold.

Whilst we can all support you and be company for you here, there will be nothing like a good natter with those who have actually been through very similar circumstances pertaining to the same perpetrator and can relate to the dreadful ups and downs of the processess and hoops that have needed to be scaled and will need to be faced in the months ahead.

We're each here for you, in any way we each can be, for the long term with more people joining each day - so share the strength and feel the force ....
  • YAAAAAAAAAY ive watched it i cant believe it i bet he will get some nasty letters and grief off people that may know him hahahah good on him, yes loved the washing up there mike :D ps i love the doors i saw them at b and q the other day very very nice :D

  • Flippin eck Mike, I've cried as much as I've laughed!

Reading your speech has made me more determined to see you enjoy this Christmas with your boys with your Dolls House completed and this nightmare over.

Although I know you will fight on in your attempts to be repaid by the builder and I'm sure that the media interest and fantastic support will continue from all posters, you've gained an army and rightly so. Also know how much you needed the support & how humble and grateful you are.

Busy days ahead, keep the momentum going but also be proud of yourself and what you have created here, you are a credit to your boys who I'm sure are also immensley proud of their Dad. Enjoy your weekend with them.

Apart from any moral support, I really hope we can move things along with offers of practical help to improve your living conditions. A great start would be some plastering and a bed to get you off your lilo and at least provide you a comfortable room to escape to. I have suggestions which I'll e-mail to you. Wouldn't want to make any moves without first running some ideas by you.

Well done Mike, you now know you're not alone in this, you have right on your side, and some amazing people posting their support and good wishes, I'm overwhelmed by the kindness found here, I can't imagine how you feel but you're so deserving of the praise coming your way.

    Hi

I am speaking to you this evening from a pile of rubble in Littlehampton... but I am smiling and I feel amazing.......................

Ok, I'm a newcomer to the thread and have been lurking more than posting the last couple of days.... but you have just put tears in my eyes!! That doesn't happen very often, so clearly in someway although you are very ordinary, you are also a very special man.... so many would have given up a long time ago, but you are still fighting. Heres hoping you get a good resolution xxxx :j

  • Good old Mr Bridle re-surfaces! My neighbour told me last night that he had been featured on the one show so I immediately got up and watched it this morning. Both my neighbour and I are in the fortunate position of getting work done by him over 6 years ago - all completed to a very high standard, reliable, no problems. HOWEVER, being lulled into a false sense of security, I got him to quote me for some more work, probably at the same time as you got him to start work on your property Mike, about 2 1/2 years ago. It was a reasonably small job and he asked for £2,000 cash for materials that needed to be ordered for him to start the job the following week. Missed start dates signalled trouble, but I still believed his excuses as he had made such a good job the time before. However, after three months, a half finished job and demands for further money so he could pay his plasterers ( I was having a patio done!) I knew things weren't right. I continued to pester him day and night with text messages and the threat that I would go round to his house ( I know his address!) and the job was finally completed (about six months late). I hope the feature in the one show pushes your case forward Mike and I understand totally how you were convinced by Mr Bridle. His statement that he is a 'genuine bloke' which was made on the show made me want to laugh out loud. Good luck.

Flippin 'eck I get to page 30 yesterday and then there you were!!! Congratulations to you for standing up and not backing down. Hopefully this 'lovely' 'contientious' man will meet you with a wad of cold hard cash soon so you get your life and your beautiful cottage back on track. Well done to all your supporters on here too. Strength in numbers you're all amazing. Heres to a happy outcome  :T :T :T

    Feeling the force! Goodness me!

And you know without you I would have had a serious problem getting through the last few weeks.

    Anything. Anytime.

makes me feel like I've been hibernating all this time....

Accidentally bumped into this thread and as I started reading - soon realised it was on the one show.... so unlike many of you I learnt about this battle of good vs evil in probably the wrong order i.e. via tele not MSE.

Anyway, just thought the least I could offer is some support and wish Mike all the best in his quest for justice and get what any decent, loving and devoted father should deserve.

    Good luck!
