Engagement Ring

Thanks guys.
I know the diamond is tough as you can only cut them with other diamonds but what about the white gold band? Is moisturise and shampoo bad for it over time? However I want to minimise the number of times I remove the ring so that I don't lose it.

I bought my wife a cheap ultrasonic cleaner from Maplins (20 quid) to clean her engagement ring.. works nicely

I know that my mum takes her engagement ring off when she is washing up, showering etc (hers is a 3 stone diamond ring too).

Just tried this, what a brill idea, my ring is sparkling now, i didn't even think it was dirty (only had it for 3 and a half months!)
