next step question

2 years ago I proceeded with my three formal letter to Lloyds with our claim for £2500, and then never pursued with court claim. We have received letter from Lloyds two weeks ago based on the Court ruling in November, stating standard 8 weeks to reply and not uphold complaint or file closing.

My question is, we seem to qualify for financial hardship, do we 1) have to first pursue through court claim filing, or 2) complain to bank stating financial hardship? or 3) go to Financial Ombudsman claiming financial hardship? (are there templates for this?)

Many thanks,

  • But if you are not in financial hardship why would you go to the bank and say you were?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
